Germany is rolling out the big guns with it’s Bratwurst, producing a synergy of veal, pork and beef, this sausage is expected to be a cut above the rest; dynamic in attack and delivering strongly on the flavour front. In German the name Bratwurst, or ‘Brat’, describes the way the sausages are produced, yet modern Germans associate the term Bratwurst with the German verb ‘braten’, which means to pan fry or roast.
How to BBQ German Bratwurst
We recommend tasting the German Bratwurst straight off the BBQ. Here's how to do it!
What you'll need:
- German Bratwurst sausages
- Hot dog buns
- Warm your BBQ up to a medium-level heat and line up your German Bratwust on the grill
- Use BBQ turner to regularly flip your Bratwurst sausages whilst grilling
- After 10-15 minutes, your Bratwurst should be good enough to eat, so remove from the BBQ and serve in straight-forward hot dog buns with your choice of condiments,
